ABOUT ME

Dr. Stephanie Mathews-Brashear, DNP, AGNP-C

Dr. Stephanie Mathews-Brashear is an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience specializing in endocrinology and internal medicine. She is Board Certified in Adult Geriatric Medicine, holds a Master’s Degree in Health Management, a Post-Master’s Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Adult Geriatric Internal Medicine.

Since 2017, Dr. Mathews-Brashear has served as an adjunct professor for the University of Florida’s graduate nursing program, sharing her expertise with future healthcare leaders. In 2019, she founded Brashear Geriatrics with a mission to deliver exceptional rehabilitative and long-term care, blending advanced clinical knowledge with deep compassion.

Her passion lies in empowering both patients and peers — helping colleagues practice independently and confidently with evidence-based care, and guiding patients toward comprehensive, personalized healthcare plans that go beyond prescriptions to address the whole person.
